Simon Horton

Simon's the longest serving member of Cycleworks, Director and Manager of Petersfield. He's been in the Cycle trade for 18 years and is still enjoying it!

Simon has raced on the road in Brittany, France at 19yrs old and ended up staying there for 5 seasons. He arrived in France with an English 1st cat licence and managed to win in all categories.

For 2008 Simon's planning to race TT's (and maybe road).

• Cervelo Soloist SL with Dura-Ace, Easton finishing kit and Kysirium wheels (or PowerTap when training)
• Specialized Transition with Dura-Ace.

Mike Smith

Mike's been riding jump/downhill for 7 years and as a former DMR rider, he's now riding Charge bikes for 2008. He can generally be found upside-down at the trails, hitting the local downhill tracks or riding cross country on Tuesday night. Mike recently placed seventh in the Europe wide competition 'Whitestyle' and is currently approaching the qualifying stages on this year's Nissan Qashqui series. A previous trophy under his belt is winning the N.A.S.S 2005 King of Dirt.

In 2006 Mike was part of a Jump/Street display (with Martin Ashton no less), and March 2008 saw him riding demos for Nissan at the Geneva motor show.

Ben Marks

Ben's 20 years old and single. He likes riding his bike and would love to meet a similar lady with a GSOH.

He's been on two wheels for longer than he can remember and has crossed a number of disciplines in that time. Ben's most at home when he's sessioning that new line at the trails or blasting the singletrack over at Leith Hill.

• Specialized SX Trail with Fox 36 Vanilla forks, DT/Hope wheels, Hope Mono M4 brakes, an e13 chain device upfront running a roadie cassette at the back.
• Cannondale Chase built with Fox Float forks, Hone/XTR drivetrain and DT/Hope wheels, notably a trials hub on the rear with the tiniest of cassettes on. Aaron Chase eat your heart out...
