Our staff and friends race in Cycleworks colours in the UK and abroad, in events ranging from RideLondon to Hawaiian IronMan challenges.

    Favourite post-race snack?

    Large mug of full fat milk with a heaped teaspoon of turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, cinnamon and ground ginger and warmed up (sometimes with a bit of decaf coffee too)

    Goal for the season?

    Another Ride 100 and the ROC des Alpes. A weekend of MTBing and my other passion - food.

    Jackie Field

    Jackie is a qualified British Cycling Level 2 MTB guide and is actively encouraging local ladies & gents to get fit with some fitness/bike handling classes aimed at beginners and intermediates.  As well as the weekly classes she offers half and full days rides which attract people to the local area.

    In 2018 she competed for Great Britain in the ITU Cross Triathlon World Championships in Fynn, Denmark.  This winter season she is planing on doing more of the Brass monkey and Gorrick MTB series where she wants to improve her speed on the technical side of things ready for another Cross triathlon world championship in Spain, April 2019.  She also has her eye on MTBing the Himalayas sometime at the end of 2019.

    Luke van Oudtshoorn

    Coming into Triathlon from running background, Luke is this year’s U17 and U20 Mens winner at the Surrey XC Championships. Both age groups run simultaneously and Luke won outright making him champ in both categories, even though he still has another year to compete in the U17 category! He’s a member of Aldershot, Farnham and District Athletics Club, Haslemere Swimming Club, and has qualifying times for Surrey County Championships- a talented young lad!

    Favourite post-race snack?

    A well deserved glass of Malbec

    Goal for the season?

    Sally still hasn’t given up on running an elusive sub 3 hour marathon. She's also aiming high to make top ten in the Age Group Triathlon World Championships next year which will mean some intensive swim training and serious time trialling in the months to come.

    Sally Goble

    Sally is an experienced triathlete having covered all distances home & abroad representing GB in the Age Group World Championships. Highlights to date are coming first in her age group in Ironman UK thus making it to the renowned Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. She also managed a bronze in the Standard Duathlon World Championships in Spain and this year made the top 10 in the European Triathlon Championships in Glasgow.

    Sally also qualified this year for the Triathlon World Championships to be held in Lausanne, Switzerland next year.

    Sally rides with her local club VC Meudon and runs for Haslemere Border AC both of which she holds in high regard.
