This years TARA bikes see significant changes over what was an already well regarded range.
Most significantly, the travel has been fixed at 150mm (6 inches) which is the top end of the previous years' travel range. The bike geometry can now be altered with a tool-free adjustment of the suspension linkages to give a lower ride height and slacker frame geometry for riding more technical trails.
In equipment terms the Rock Springs starts from a solid base, with a Fox 32 Vanilla R fork giving 140mm of travel, tough wheels featuring the WTB SpeedDisc All Mountain rims and Motoraptor tyres and SRAM X-5 9 speed shifters with double chainrings.
Hayes HFX-9 hydraulic disc brakes provide strong stopping power.
