BigHit FSR II

Specialized don't do things by halves. So when they decide to build a go anywhere freeride bike they mean it. The BigHit range is solid and tough, with slack angles that keep you in control when things turn vertical and 7.5 inches of travel to soak up the bumps.

The BigHit II comes with a Fox Vanilla R coil rear shock that's smooth and linear in its travel. Up front there's 180mm of bump munching Rock Shox Domain 318 forkery with rebound and compression adjustment.

Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic disc brakes reign in the speed and there's an SRAM X-7 shifter and X-9 rear derailleur giving 9 gears to beat the hills.

The rest of the bike features solid, oversized componentry - wide riser handlebars, TruVativ Hussefelt stem and cranks, TruVativ Howitzer bottom bracket, platform pedals and Mavic EX-325 wheel rims show how much effort Specialized have put into making sure the bike doesn't break.
