The new FSR Enduro bike range looks set to become one of this year's big success stories for adventurous riders. They feature sophisticated frame profiling and super strength forgings that really demonstrate state of the art technology that Specialized has used to produce a true All Mountain bike.
A major part of Specialized's commitment to the design has been the decision to produce both the rear shock and triple crown fork in-house. For years, Specialized have been working with Fox people to tune shocks to their specific requirements - now a lot of them are working for Specialized to ensure the suspension works just as it should.
The 6 inch travel FSR Enduro Comp can tackle practically anything you throw at it. The Specialized Future Shock e150 fork has rebound and compression adjustment plus a 25mm through axle to make sure it tracks true even over the roughest terrain. At the back, the AFR shock has Flow Control valving to keep the rear end super plush.
The rest of the bike hasn't been over looked either - snappy gearing is the result of 9 speed SRAM X-7 shifters and an X-9 rear derailleur with TruVativ Stylo crankset. Custom DT X430 rims feature on the tough wheelset.
Finally, Avid Juicy 5 hydraulic disc brakes keep everything under control when things point downhill.
