Specialized's FSR Epic range is a firm favourite with racers and has a proven pedigree of race wins behind it. It features M5 alloy frames with signature Brain Fade rear shocks that keep the back end locked out when pedalling but ensures a super plush response when you hit a bump.
The 4 inch travel FSR Epic Comp comes with a high equipment level, with a Fox F100RL fork with 100mm travel, compression and rebound adjustment and lockout. At the back, the Fox Brain Fade shock has adjustable responses to tune the lockout threshold to the rider and terrain.
The rest of the bike hasn't been over looked either - crisp gearing is the result of 9 speed SRAM X-7 shifters and an X-9 rear derailleur with TruVatic Stylo crankset. Custom DT X430 rims feature on the tough wheelset.
The trusty Avid Juicy 5 hydraulic disc brakes keep things under control on the downhills.
