It's easy to think that the FSR XC range of bikes is the little brother to the Stumpjumper, but that's not really the case. True, they share the fundamental principles of their suspension layout, but the FSR XC is much more focussed on covering the sort of ground that most XC riders encounter out on the trails.
With it's four bar rear suspension, the FSR XC is a plush ride that just eats bumps. It's also remarkably good value as theirs a lot of kit packed into it's M4 alloy, heavily manipulated frame.
The FSR XC Pro comes with the fantastic Rock Shox Reba SL fork with 100mm of travel, rebound adjustment and lockout and a Fox Triad rear shock with ProPedal that's tuned to Specialized's requirements. Snappy gearing is the result of 9 speed SRAM X-5 shifters, an X-9 rear derailleur and Shimano XT HollowTech II crankset.
The popular Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic disc brakes keep everything under control.
