Inspired by the term Triathlon competitors use for switching from one phase of the race to another, the Transition range is aimed at competitors facing down the clock.
The Transition Comp is made from Colombus aero tubing and features a Specialized FACT carbon fibre fork with Zertz inserts. Motive power is handled through the 10 speed Shimano 105 gearset with Ultegra rear derailleur, all turning Mavic Aksium wheels (20 holes at the front, 24 at the rear).
With such a competition bias, the Transition Comp also comes with bullhorn bars and Profile Designs T2 Cobra aero bars. Dura-Ace bar end shifters mean you don't need to shift position to change gear.
There's more carbon fibre on the Specialized Transition seatpost and comfortable Body Geometry Toupé Team saddle.
