Whyte is a brand synonymous with high performing full suspension designs using exotic frame materials. The E-120 Trail is the beneficiary of a bloodline that dates back to the start of full suspension mountain bike design.

For 2010, the E-120 XT uses Whyte’s full carbon fibre monocoque frame matched with a carbon fibre swingarm that alone has 157 individual pieces! So there’s a lot of attention to detail in the frame (including titanium pivot bolts) which is light enough to race yet tough enough to take plenty of punishment. Whatever your riding style, the E-120 should have it covered.

The E-120 XT comes with a Fox F120RL 120mm travel fork with a QR15 15mm through axle, adjustable rebound and a lockout, plus a Fox RP2 ProPedal rear shock. A full XT drivetrain features, including Shimano XT shifter, XT front and rear derailleurs and an XT crankset.

The XT specification continues elsewhere with an XT wheelset with Centrelock hubs paired to Avid Elixir hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm front and rear rotors. Finishing kit includes a Easton MonkeyLite handlebars and EA50 oversized stem, a Thomson seatpost and Fizik Gobi XM saddle.

Overall, the E-120 XT is ready to win races.

For 2010, the E-120 S uses Whyte’s full carbon fibre monocoque frame matched with a carbon fibre swingarm that alone has 157 individual pieces! So there’s a lot of attention to detail in the frame which is light enough to race yet tough enough to take plenty of punishment. Whatever your riding style, the E-120 should have it covered.

The E-120 S comes with a Rock Shox Reba SL 130mm travel fork with a 20mm Maxle Lite through axle, Motion Control Damping, adjustable rebound and a Fox RP2 rear shock. The bike is built for all round trail use with an optimum UK spec and has SRAM X-7 shifters with an SRAM X-9 rear derailleur mated to a Shimano SLX crankset.

To keep everything in check when the trail turns downhill there’s Avid Elixir 5 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm front rotor and finishing kit that includes a Truvativ Stylo handlebars and oversized stem, an SDG Bel Air SL I-beam saddle and SDG I-beam seatpost.

A Hope Pro 2 hub at the rear is mated to Mavic XM-317 rims to make a durable wheelset. In short, it’s a tough no-nonsense machine that’s built to take some stick.

When Jon Whyte originally decided it was time to build a hardtail in 2006, you just knew it was going to be something extraordinary and for 2010 Whyte have taken things a stage further.

The 19 Trail is a hardtail that is as versatile as a hardtail can be. Single speed? Yep, if you want. Gears? No problem. Short chainstays for techincal riding? Umm Ok then. Longer wheelbase for covering the miles? That’s fine too. What makes the 19 special is its custom designed replaceable dropouts that cater for every mood. So whatever your riding style, the 19 should have it covered.

For 2010 the range has grown to three models, the 19 Trail, the 19 Steel 631 and 19 Titanium, each of them optimised to the characteristics of the frame material – hydroformed alloy, 631 steel or titanium – but each using essentially the same geometry and adjustable dropout concept.

The 19 Trail comes with a Fox F120 RL QR15 with 120mm of travel, adjustable rebound and lockout. The bike is optimised for all round trail use and has SRAM X-9 shifters with an SRAM X-0 rear derailleur mated to a Truvativ Stylo 3.3 chainset.

To keep everything in check when the trail turns downhill there’s Hope X2 hydraulic disc brakes with Tech carbon levers and a 180mm front rotor and there’s finishing kit that includes a Thomson seat post, Thomson stem and Easton Monkeybar handlebars and a Fizik Gobi XM saddle with Magnesium rails for comfort.

A strong, tough wheelset is formed from Hope Pro 2 disc hubs and Mavic XM-719 rims. In short, it’s a tough no-nonsense machine that’s built to take some stick.
