Intense Cycles are based in Temecula, California in the United States and made their name with the legendary M1 downhill bike of the early nineties.
But Intense don't just make downhill bikes. The 5.5 EVP is very similar to the Spider but comes with 5.5 inches of rear travel that allows a burlier approach to your riding. It uses Intense's signature VPP technology to give a supple ride while at the same time ensuring great traction on climbs. It is designed to take a 100 - 135mm fork, has tons of mud clearance and comes equipped with a Fox RP23 rear shock with ProPedal.
The level of detailing is very high on this frame including disc mounts and hose guides, neat dropouts and a high standard of paint finish.
