Intense Cycles are based in Temecula, California in the United States and made their name with the legendary M1 downhill bike of the early nineties.
Today, the M3 frame is an evolution of that concept although its a substantially better machine with 9.5 inches of rear travel, a virtual pivot path to it's travel and monocoque aluminium body.
Recommended fork travel is between 180 and 200mm and Intense warrant the bike for use with 203mm disc rotors as well. The dropouts are compatible with a 12mm bolt through axle and rear hub spacing can be either 135mm or 150mm. A very configurable downhill machine.
