We've just taken delivery of two of only three Intense 5.5 FRO frames available in the country!
Both are medium size frames, one in 'works' raw aluminium and the other in black.
Intense Cycles are based in Temecula, California in the United States and made their name with the legendary M1 downhill bike of the early nineties.
But Intense don't just make downhill bikes. The 5.5 FRO (For Race Only) is very similar to the 5.5 EVP but has a lighter frame and uses the latest custom EA-6 Easton tubing. It uses Intense's signature VPP technology to give a supple ride while at the same time ensuring great traction on climbs. It is designed to take a 100 - 135mm fork, has tons of mud clearance and comes equipped with a Fox RP23 rear shock with ProPedal.
The level of detailing is very high on this frame including disc mounts and hose guides, neat dropouts and a high standard of paint finish.
